Transportation

Logistics and transit that move on time.

Carriers, 3PLs, and fleet operators run SAP across order-to-cash for shipper customers, asset maintenance, driver and crew management, and the long settlement chain. Joule agents work the exception side: when a load slips, hours go red, or a settlement is disputed.

Joule agents in Transportation

What we have shipped, and what we can build for you.

SAP validated our first 20 Joule agents in early 2026. The library keeps growing. Below are the agents that land in transportation, plus concepts our agent factory can build next. See the full catalog

What each agent does on its own

  • Flags watches and tells your team, takes no action itself
  • Suggests drafts the work, a person approves it before anything happens
  • Acts handles routine steps itself, within limits your team sets

Engagement shapes

A few ways a Transportation engagement usually starts.

01

SAP TM + EWM rollout

6-10 months

Transportation and warehouse on one connected SAP estate.

02

Fleet maintenance modernization

4-6 months

PM, MRS, and the field tech app. Driven by uptime and wrench time, not maintenance theater.

03

Load exception pilot

8-12 weeks

A Joule agent on one lane or one customer, scoped to one peak season.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do you do TM, or just S/4 Logistics?
Yes, we do SAP TM, including planning, charge management, and EM. EWM and TM together is the right modern footprint.
Telematics integration?
Yes. We have done Geotab, Samsara, Verizon Connect, and OEM telematics into SAP. Integration Suite handles the data path.
What about brokerage vs asset-based?
Both. The Carrier Settlement Reconciliation agent fits brokerage. Asset-based adds the Fleet Maintenance agent and the HOS workflow.

Let's talk Transportation.

Bring the real problem. We will spend a working day on it, with the people who will actually have to live with the answer.
