Healthcare

Where adoption is everything.

Mindset stays clinical-adjacent. The SAP work in a health system or med-tech manufacturer is HR and credentialing, supply chain for clinical materials, capital procurement, grants, and revenue cycle interfaces. Joule agents earn their keep without touching the EHR.

Joule agents in Healthcare

What we have shipped, and what we can build for you.

SAP validated our first 20 Joule agents in early 2026. The library keeps growing. Below are the agents that land in healthcare, plus concepts our agent factory can build next. See the full catalog

What each agent does on its own

  • Flags watches and tells your team, takes no action itself
  • Suggests drafts the work, a person approves it before anything happens
  • Acts handles routine steps itself, within limits your team sets
Shipped Suggests

Shipped Suggests

Credit Management

Evaluates customer credit exposure for med-tech sellers running on S/4HANA.

SAP:

Converts released PRs into POs. The capital-equipment workflow for healthcare.

SAP:

SAP:
S/4HANA MM, EWM, IM

S/4HANA FI-AR, 837/835 EDI
Outcome:
Days-in-AR, unposted-cash aging
Concept Acts

Recall and Field-Action

Watches FDA MAUDE and supplier recall feeds, matches lot/serial against SAP stock, and opens a removal task per location.

SAP:
S/4HANA batch management, EWM, FDA feeds
Outcome:
Hours from recall to last unit quarantined
Concept Suggests

Research Grant Compliance

Watches PR and journal posts against a grant project, flags out-of-scope or post-deadline charges, and drafts re-class.

Disallowed costs as percent of award
Engagement shapes

A few ways a Healthcare engagement usually starts.

01

SuccessFactors + S/4HANA HR alignment

6-9 months

Credentialing, scheduling, and pay running cleanly together.

02

Capital procurement on Ariba + S/4HANA

4-6 months

Cut months off the cycle from clinical request to commissioned imaging or surgical equipment.

03

Revenue cycle interface modernization

8-12 months

EDI 837/835 plus the SAP financial close working together without a team chasing remits.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do you touch the EHR?
No. We stay clinical-adjacent. The EHR is for clinical work. SAP runs the supply, the finance, the HR, and the credentialing around it. We do that side.
What about HIPAA and PHI?
Our integrations follow the same controls a hospital expects: minimum-necessary data, audit trails, encryption in transit and at rest, BAAs where appropriate. The SAP side rarely needs PHI.
Med-tech manufacturer versus health system?
Different mixes. A med-tech maker leans on Sales, Service, QM, and field-service patterns. A health system leans on Supply, HR, and revenue cycle. We do both.
How fast can we get a Clinical Supply Replenishment agent live?
A scoped pilot on one OR or one floor in 8 to 12 weeks. The data path through SAP MM is the first thing to validate. Once that is solid, the agent ships fast.

Let's talk Healthcare.

Bring the real problem. We will spend a working day on it, with the people who will actually have to live with the answer.
