Mindset Saves up to 40% on your PI/PO to Integration Suite Migration. How we do it.

Mindset has built a proprietary set of accelerators to help with your Integration Suite migration. This set of accelerators is called M-Suite. We say M-Suite takes up to 40% off a traditional PI/PO migration timeline.

Mindset clients today have anywhere from several hundred to thousands of iFlows to migrate. Here are a few ways we help them achieve up to 40% time savings.

  1. A scored catalog. M-Suite pulls every interface, adapter and message type into one inventory and scores each on complexity, volume and dependencies. Teams usually spend the first month of a migration assembling that picture by hand, and they assemble it wrong, because the only complete record is the running system.
  2. A pattern library. Migrations recur in types. Once a type is solved, it is solved for every interface that matches it. The library carries those solutions forward instead of rediscovering them per interface.
  3. A reusable retry and error-handling framework. The failure handling is where hand-built migrations quietly lose weeks, because every interface gets its own improvisation. One framework, applied across the estate, removes that.  Whether it’s through pipelines or through custom retry logic.
  4. Automated documentation. Documentation in an integration project is key.  So many PI/PO instances have very outdated or no documentation at all about interface connectivity, destinations, end to end process flow, transformations happening in groovy scripting, and more.  Our automated documentation makes sure every iflow has complete end to end documentation.
  5. Interface Transport configuration.  We have built tools into M-Suite for moving interface configuration from system to system.  Tired of keying in one time system configuration into each interface, our ConfigMove tools do just that in a fraction of the time so you can get to testing and UAT faster.

Two other places the time shows up most visibly during a migration that people usually dont think about. Standing up the platform and test iterations.  BTP enablement takes about eight hours with the accelerators, against two to four weeks of manual configuration. Testing shortens by weeks, and by as much as a full month on large migrations.

What this means for your environment

The savings begin with the Mindset PI/PO to Integration Suite assessment. It’s free, takes one week or less, and analyzes your iFlow and integration inventory to give you a time and cost estimate with complexity scored per interface. The tool runs from our secure BTP tenant, so no upfront licensing cost needed.

The part that is not negotiable

Mainstream maintenance for SAP PI/PO ends 31 December 2027. After that you are off the platform or you are paying for extended maintenance, and extended maintenance is a cost with no asset at the end of it.

The estates that land well are the ones that started counting early. Not because the migration takes longer than people think, but because the decisions around it do.

We currently have client migrations underway that will not complete until the third quarter of next year. If your estate is large, the runway to 2027 is shorter than it looks.
