Simplifying and Improving Workflow for Approving Purchase Requisitions
Approving purchase requisitions on the client’s legacy SAP systems were cumbersome and counterintuitive. The system lacked rules-based workflows and required time-consuming, manual follow-ups, creating procurement bottlenecks.
Mindset leveraged the complete SAP BTP platform to create a working proof of concept of a Purchase Requisition (PR) approval workflow solution. Using the BTP CAPM, Mindset engineers implemented a rules-based PR approval workflow and established the application-agnostic nature of SAP BTP. Utilizing logic-based email notifications and improved visibility of metrics, the customized workflow enabled the client to save time, reduce manual processes, and minimize the possibility of human error.
