Healthcare and Life Sciences SAP Fiori SAP UI5
Medical Technology Company
Built a branded SAP UI5 CRM app that recorded 11 times more customer interactions within a week of launch.
Enhancing User Experience and Customer Engagement with a Tailored UI Application
As part of managing clinical trials of their technology, this customer’s employees recorded their in-person interactions with medical practitioners in their CRM. Due to the poor user interface, the employees opted to enter interactions in delayed batches rather than in real time, losing vital information in the interim. The Mindset team developed a branded and tailored SAP UI5 application that improved user experience, increased engagement, and provided cross-company visibility into high-value interactions. The application included a useful new Insight feature that allowed the team to proactively report issues with business processes. Within a week of launch, the client recorded 11 times more customer interactions than typical.

If we built this today
Concept · not delivered scopeA launchpad that answers back.
This is a forward-looking concept, not the scope we delivered on this engagement. It is the build we would reach for now, grounded in SAP that ships today.
This was Fiori and SAP UI5 work to make S/4HANA usable for a medical technology team, and today that same effort would start with Joule answering plain-language questions right inside the launchpad.
The data product
Cloud ERP Intelligence
Grounds the assistant in governed S/4HANA semantics from SAP Business Data Cloud, so answers reflect real master data and process meaning rather than a guess off a single table.

The Joule agent
Knowledge Graph Navigator
Sits in the Fiori launchpad and answers a med-tech user's plain-language ask by reading transactional data through the SAP Knowledge Graph, then points to the right record, app, or next step instead of making people hunt through screens. It drafts the step and a person approves.

The Fiori app
Joule in the SAP Fiori launchpad
The copilot now lives inside the Fiori launchpad the team already works in, so a question typed in plain language can surface records, explain a field, and walk to the right app. For a custom SAP UI5 build, the same Joule entry point can sit right alongside the bespoke screens.
Embedded in the Fiori launchpad
We'd mine how people actually move through the screens in SAP Signavio first, map the app and integration estate in SAP LeanIX, and let our MIND accelerators carry the custom UI5 patterns from the old build into the new one.
