Streamlining Bank Account Management Workflow
The client needed an improved, digital solution to navigate through several types of bank requests for more than 100 customer accounts. To do so, various processes – cash management, treasury document analysis, master data management – needed to be aligned seamlessly. Mindset collaborated with different stakeholders to ideate on improving user experience and overcoming business challenges. The desired solution would create a foundation for creating, amending, closing, and managing all bank account related operations. The team leveraged Design Thinking and Agile Methodology to build an application that enabled four different teams to manage three different types of requests, using three different sets of UI. The solution decreased complexity, streamlined the workflow, and increased user adoption.

This food and agriculture company needed one clean way to open, amend, and close bank accounts across more than a hundred customer accounts, with cash management, treasury, and master data all kept in step, the custom workflow SAP Build used to carry.

Reads each incoming bank request, checks it against treasury rules and the current master data, and routes it to the right team with the gaps already flagged. It drafts the request package and a short note on what is missing, then a treasury approver makes the call.

A governed treasury and bank account data product on SAP Business Data Cloud that joins cash, document, and master data into one trusted set the agent can reason over, with no copies floating around. It gives the agent real meaning behind each request instead of a raw export.
