S/4 Roundtable: May 16, 2024
It’s hard to believe this year that SAP S/4 HANA started its journey about a decade ago. This quarter’s roundtable will focus on impacts and heavily focus on the future.
Over the last 10 years, SAP S/4HANA went from a simple start, post-Suite for HANA, with SAP Simple Finance to SAP S/4HANA over different deployment models. With Cloud becoming the future of the enterprise software world, SAP put in place several models for customers to easily realize the value of moving to S/4HANA over the years.
Starting with extensibility on SCP, the concept of clean core has evolved with SAP BTP to build extensions, data management, analytics, strong integrations and intelligent enterprise. As Digital Core stabilized, customers today have several possibilities to realize a tremendous return on investment through easier differentiation while keeping the core clean, helping prioritize business continuity throughout the releases.

This event focuses on managers, senior managers, and development leads who work at least partly on introducing new concepts into SAP organizations.
A Mindset Roundtable is a free-flowing conversation between SAP practitioners hosted by Mindset Consulting. While we provide the platform, conversation starters, and insight from our experience, the conversation is meant to be for SAP practitioners and those who manage SAP teams and processes. Therefore, we keep formal presentations to an absolute minimum to provide ample time for discussion.

We have a 1.5-hour agenda scheduled. Based on the previous participant feedback, we will minimize presentation time and maximize discussion. The format will be an open discussion in a round-robin format punctuated by prompts and surveys to drive the discussion topics and keep the discussion lively.
