Timesheet data for the client’s employees had to be entered through either the ESS portal or SAP transactions. Both options were particularly complicated, cumbersome, and rigid, and neither was mobile-friendly. To fully understand the business problem, Mindset began by investigating end-user challenges and specific pain points. The team tested low-resolution prototypes with super users and designed high-resolution prototypes for cross-organizational feedback. The new system provided the client with a simplified and mobile-friendly timesheet data entry process.
