SAP Analytics Associate Principal Consultant

As an SAP Analytics Associate Principal at Mindset, you will lead the modernization of enterprise analytics for our clients. As a trusted advisor to business and IT executives, you will blend strategic vision, thought leadership, and deep SAP expertise. Guide your clients through their transformation from legacy platforms (BW/BPC) to the SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), utilizing SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BTP.

We are looking for someone who can confidently own the room with senior stakeholders, frame the vision, build consensus, and guide teams in designing and delivering end-to-end data foundations for AI/ML-driven insights, while playing a pivotal role in growing Mindset’s Data & Analytics practice through pre-sales and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable SAP Analytics solutions (Datasphere, BW/4HANA, SAC) that serve as a unified truth for reporting and planning.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and business leads on data strategy, governance, and the transition to the cloud.
• Drive pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and delivering compelling Proof of Concepts (POCs) and workshops.
• Plan and deliver blogs, point-of-view articles, webinars, conference sessions, and customer stories that elevate our SAP Data & Analytics brand and support pipeline generation.
• Lead design thinking engagements and stay ahead of SAP’s evolving portfolio (BTP and AI Core) to bring fresh value to clients.
• Lead project teams, providing technical oversight and mentoring consultants to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Stay current with SAP’s rapidly evolving Data and Analytics portfolio, BTP offerings, and emerging best practices.
• Contribute to Mindset’s thought leadership through webinars, blogs, and client workshops.
• Ability to travel as needed up to 25%

Required Qualifications 

• 7+ years in SAP Data & Analytics with a track record of managing client relationships and leading delivery workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic advisor to senior business and IT leaders on data strategy, operating models, and cloud transformation roadmaps.
• Proven ability to shape and sell high-value analytics programs, including leading vision/roadmap workshops, framing business cases, and influencing executive decision-making.
• Recognized or emerging thought leader in SAP Analytics (e.g., speaking at conferences or user groups, publishing blogs/POVs, leading internal IP/accelerator development, or guiding communities of practice).
• Demonstrated success partnering with sales and account teams to drive pre-sales, including solution framing, estimation, and creation of compelling POVs, demos, and prototypes.
• Ability to connect analytics capabilities (Datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA, BTP) to tangible business outcomes such as revenue growth, margin improvement, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Comfort operating as a trusted C-level advisor, able to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and guide clients through multi-year transformation journeys.
• Deep expertise in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (2+ years hands-on in one, 1–2 years in the other) and predecessors.
• Strong background in SAP BW / BW/4HANA and SAP BPC (Standard/Embedded).
• Proficiency in SAP HANA modeling (Calculation Views), SQLScript, and data integration/data flows.
• Mastery of data modeling patterns (Star/Snowflake), semantic layers, and hybrid architectures for analytics and planning.
• Proven experience migrating legacy BW/BPC solutions to modern cloud architectures (Datasphere/SAC).
• Executive-ready consulting presence with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, business-focused narratives.
• An entrepreneurial driver with a proactive approach to problem-solving, innovation, and user experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to, facilitating with, and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from project teams to C-suite.
