Developer- Internal AI & Business Systems

Role overview

We’re looking for a mid-level developer to help build and improve internal business systems while also contributing to client-facing development work where appropriate. This role sits at the intersection of internal product development, AI-enabled workflow improvement, and hands-on software delivery.

The initial focus will be on internal tools and platforms that support how we operate, including areas like website maintenance, HRIS/ATS evolution, and finance process automation. Over time, this person will also contribute to billable client work in line with skill set and project needs.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and improve internal applications and workflows
• Help evolve internal systems such as HRIS, ATS, and related operational tools
• Support automation opportunities across recruiting, finance, and business operations
• Maintain and enhance existing internal web properties and connected systems
• Identify practical ways to use AI to improve internal processes and productivity
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into workable solutions
• Contribute to client-facing development work when needed and aligned with your skill set
• Help shape technical direction for internal development efforts

What we’re looking for

• A software developer that is able to work directly with business users 
• Experience with AI-enabled product or workflow development, specifically with Claude and Claude code
• Ability to work across ambiguous problem spaces and turn rough ideas into usable solutions
• Experience building business applications, workflow tools, automations, or internal platforms
• Comfort working across multiple systems and functions, including operations-heavy environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and make progress without heavy oversight

Nice to have

• Experience with systems integration work
• SAP background or experience working in SAP-adjacent environments
• Experience supporting HR, recruiting, finance, or operational systems
• Experience balancing internal product work with external or billable delivery
