Integrating Systems for Better Access to Shipment Data

Railway freight yard with cargo trains and supply chain logistics operations

Critical customer data, which included shipment, driver, cargo and freight details, was fragmented across the client’s multiple SAP systems and managed manually. Mindset was asked to integrate these SAP systems for better access to consolidated customer information. The improved solution brought visibility to many crucial shipment performance variables, such as driver wait time, equipment dwell time, and shipment volumes. Upon system implementation, the client gained substantial visibility into these key parameters, achieving improvements including a 50% reduction in driver wait time at the client’s facility.
