Conserving Time and Resources by Upgrading the Purchase Requisition Creation Process

Wind turbines on green hills with winding road, representing sustainable energy and strategic planning

For inexperienced employees, the client’s purchase requisition (PRs) creation process was unnecessarily challenging, requiring time-consuming training and consuming valuable resources. Mindset’s first step in designing a better solution was to conduct collaborative and interactive sessions with stakeholders and gain a detailed understanding of the current process. The Mindset team then created specific personas of roles involved in the PR creation process and developed prototypes of the proposed solution. The result was a new PR creation system that streamlined the process, removed redundant steps, and eliminated training completely.
