Mindset is seeking an experienced ERP Architect to lead and execute the data strategy for a complex ERP system spinoff initiative. This role will be responsible for developing data architecture, mapping data flows, and ensuring seamless separation and migration of enterprise data assets in alignment with governance and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP), data modeling, and a strong background in M&A or spinoff environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee the data disentanglement strategy for ERP system separation.
- Map data flows and data lineage across interconnected ERP systems to ensure clear traceability and minimal disruption.
- Design and implement new data models and target state architecture to support the spinoff organization’s operational and analytical needs.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams to align on data strategy and execution.
- Ensure all activities comply with data governance frameworks, privacy laws, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and best practices in data integration, data quality, and metadata management.
- Support the transition by identifying and mitigating data-related risks and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data management roles.
- Strong experience with ERP systems, with a preference for SAP (ECC, S/4HANA).
- Proven experience in M&A, divestitures, or corporate spinoffs, specifically in data separation and migration efforts.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques, enterprise data integration, data governance, and master data management (MDM).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud-based data services, and data security best practices is a plus.
