In 2025, we experimented with establishing a dedicated AI product team. The results provided valuable insight: AI capabilities cannot be effectively isolated within a single organizational unit. Instead, AI must be integrated across all functional areas including client services, solution delivery, business operations, and strategic planning.

This realization fundamentally altered our operating model. We embedded AI capabilities into each practice area, every client engagement, and our internal processes. This integration approach has yielded more pragmatic and measurable outcomes for our clients.

This forms the foundation of our 2026 strategy: AI must be pervasive across the enterprise, not concentrated in isolated teams.

Strategic Positioning in the SAP Ecosystem

As an SAP Gold Partner specializing in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Business Data Cloud (BDC), Mindset translates SAP’s AI roadmap and the broader enterprise AI landscape into actionable strategies, architectural patterns, and quantifiable business outcomes.

This approach ensures that our recommendations are grounded in practical experience. We are committed to operational excellence through systematic process evaluation and application of appropriate tools, including AI, to improve business outcomes.

We deploy enterprise platforms and, where appropriate, develop custom AI applications on SAP BTP. This demonstrates that innovation and operational efficiency are complementary objectives and strengthens our advisory credibility with clients.

Enterprise AI Architecture: Defining Tool Roles

Organizations frequently seek guidance on the strategic positioning of Joule relative to other enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or Claude.

Successful AI deployment requires more than tool adoption. It demands an enterprise architecture designed for AI readiness. Over the past two years, we have developed a BTP-centered reference architecture that has become the foundation for forward-thinking SAP customers.

The architecture consists of three integrated layers. SAP BTP AI Core serves as the intelligence layer, powering SAP Business AI applications and custom AI extensions with enterprise governance, security, and compliance. This layer manages custom AI model deployment, lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices.

SAP BTP Integration Suite functions as the orchestration hub, serving as the connection point for AI agents with Model Context Protocol (MCP) style tool access. This architecture enables external agents from OpenAI, Anthropic, or custom models to interact with SAP processes securely with full auditability and governance.

SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) provides the data foundation, delivering the governed data backbone with knowledge-graph patterns. This ensures AI operates with contextualized, traceable, semantically-rich data. SAP Datasphere integration delivers AI readiness by grounding AI recommendations in trusted business data.

This BTP enablement practice is essential for organizations positioning SAP data and processes at the center of their AI strategy. The architecture enables next-generation AI agents to operate securely across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, a critical capability as enterprises adopt agentic AI approaches.

AI in Consulting Delivery

AI is transforming our consulting delivery model. We actively evaluate Joule alongside generative AI tools from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google to enhance consultant and developer productivity.

Current applications span AI-assisted development using Joule for Developers in SAP Build Code, AMS and support enhancement through AI-powered triage and intelligent knowledge surfacing, Integration Suite flow optimization using SAP’s AI tools, AI-generated insights for BDC and SAC dashboards, process discovery leveraging SAP Signavio Process Intelligence with AI, and AI-assisted documentation creation including runbooks and architecture diagrams.

Experience across recent engagements has demonstrated that standardized playbooks are critical for AI adoption. We are developing comprehensive AI playbooks for common use cases and roles to enable rapid adoption of proven practices and reduce implementation risk.

Through Mindset Labs and our AppHaus methodology, we conduct discovery and design thinking sessions to identify where AI can drive innovation in key processes and business models. This human-centered approach ensures AI serves authentic business requirements.

We maintain continuous evaluation of proven partner tools while expanding proprietary accelerators.
